Yeojoo Park was one of the first artists that RYSE spoke too. We were so sure that her vision matched ours that we invited her to take over one of the pinnacle rooms – a 15th floor Artist Suite. She immediately set about totally transforming the room without touching any of the walls or furniture. Instead, she manipulated the sunlight and room lighting to give the entire room a glow that changes with the weather and time of day.

Her small physical changes to the room ended up creating an intimate, immersive experience that makes guests’ jaws drop as they walk in the first time. The room is a true beacon both inside and out, as the colored windows can be seen on the streets below, shining her message out to Hongdae.
