습관처럼 거리로 나와 햇빛이 잘 드는 낯선 골목들을 따라 무작정 걷던 뉴욕에서의 지난 9년, 뉴욕과 닮아있는 라이즈 호텔 속 다양한 빛을 따라 걷고, 관찰하며 이를 시선의 움직임 속 빛, 그림자 그리고 질감을 통해 다양하게 기록 하였다. 후보정을 거치지 않은 날 것으로 표현된 작품은 빛의 잔상(AFTERIMAGE) 속, 작가 KHAN의  향수와, 순간 감정의 기록이다.

The past nine years in NY, spent aimlessly meandering through small back streets, all while following the light.
Tracing the variations in light inside RYSE Hotel, photographer KHAN documented his observations through the use of light, shadow, and texture found in the movement of the eye. Without any post-processing, these works are raw images — a record of the artist’s homesickness and fleeting emotion expressed through the afterimage.
