CHARR offers an immersive dining experience centered around the open fire cooking techniques. The Korean apple wood and charcoal utilized to cook each dish add complex and honest flavors. From the signature Tomahawk steak for the table to share to all the plentiful vegetable side dishes, the distinctive heat and essence of applewood and charcoal cooking bring a new dimension to each dish. The interior is designed to reflect the open fire cooking with the use of wood, smoky tones, and dark charcoal accents which highlight the deli-inspired ingredient display and open kitchen.


At CHARR, the taste of the ingredients is enhanced by a well-balanced harmony of Korean flavors with Western classic grilled dishes. The fresh ingredient display and interactive steak selection experience make ordering a personal and fun experience tailored to each customer. Each dish at CHARR was perfected in its’ original form and then Korean flavors were added to enhance, rather than create mere fusion. Pickled Korean apricots or Chuncheon Grilled Chicken provides a unique perspective. The Tteok-galbi Hamburger with Gat Kimchi is a juicy explosion of tender beef with a spicy kimchi kick.


The team behind CHARR prides itself on sourcing only the best ingredients. Many of the garnishes and sides come directly from Korean soil: potatoes from Jeongsun, garlic from Uiseong, carrots from Jeju, and lettuce from Cheongdo. The restaurant truly embodies what it means to It truly think globally, act locally.
