More than anything else, RYSE is always trying to bring art into direct contact with our guests. Hyunye is an artist that we’ve always admired. From her work customizing sneakers which is close to our heart to more abstract personal work, Hyunye stands out as having a strong personal vision. So for her weeklong residency, she wanted to allow guests to make art with her. She set up a studio in the RYSE lounge that guests could come into and interact with her. After guests picked their favorite objects, she created an individual artwork for each guest.
