로랑 세그리셔는 매우 안정적이고 빠르게 움직이며 시각적 조각들로 세상을 바라본다. 그 조각들은 스토리텔링의 콜라주가 되어 어떤 이미지를 어떻게 보느냐에 따라 다른 이야기를 낳는다. 홍대를 기록하기 위해 RYSE아티스트 레지던시로 투숙하며 2017년부터 2018년까지 서울을 다섯 번 방문하였다. 그의 사진을 호텔 곳곳에서 볼 수 있으며 새로운 도시를 바라본 낯선 이의 발걸음을 느낄 수 있다.

Laurent is most comfortable moving quick and seeing the world as visual fragments that are collaged into stories, each viewer with a different version. He visited Seoul 5 times throughout 2017-18 during his residency at RYSE to document Hongdae. His photos are seen throughout the hotel and show a stranger’s path through a new city.
