Yutnori (윷놀이)
SCROLL DOWN
🟡 What is Yutnori?
Yutnori is a traditional Korean board game played during the Lunar New Year with family and friends.
-
Played with 4 wooden sticks (Yut)
-
Based on throwing, moving, and cheering
-
A game of luck, teamwork, and movement
At RYSE, we’ve made it bigger, more physical, and more playful — so anyone can jump in.
🟡 How to Play
1️⃣ Throw the Yut
Toss the 4 wooden sticks onto the floor.
Each throw gives you a move:
-
Do – 1 step
-
Gae – 2 steps
-
Geol – 3 steps
-
Yut – 4 steps (throw again!)
-
Mo – 5 steps (throw again!)
2️⃣ Move Your Team
Instead of small pieces, YOU are the piece.
-
Move your body along the game board
-
Play solo or as a team
-
Cheer, laugh, and interact with other guests
3️⃣ Win by Returning Home
The goal is simple:
👉 Complete the full route and return to the starting point first.
No pressure — this is about fun, not competition
⚠️ Safety First
This is a full-body, movement-based game.
Please play carefully, be aware of your surroundings, and watch your step.
If you’re unsure about anything, feel free to ask our RYSE crew for help.
Let’s keep it fun and safe for everyone
